Sneak Peek To Our Academic Week
- math: This week we continue to work hard through our fractions. These next few days we will explore through finding equivalent fractions, comparing fractions, and fractions greater than ONE!
- reading: In our animal research clubs this week, we will work together to collaborate on and put together our final poster projects. After each group as completed the project, they will have the opportunity to present and teach the class about all they learned!
- writing: As we continue to work on our opinion pieces this week, we will work to incorporate paragraph writing. At what point do we split our writing up and begin a new paragraph? How can we best organize our pieces for our readers?
- word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner & on the Kids A-Z app in their kindle. In our small, differentiated groups, we continue with our word study, learning about our spelling patterns and applying them to ALL words, not just the ones on our list! Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
- religion: The Holy Spirit lives within us always and this week we will discuss all about that! We will be able to explain that following Jesus is a way to eternal happiness, too. The end of our week is all about The Ascension!
- science: How can you win a game of tug-of-war against adults? This week in science, we will learn all about how almost any action one can imagine consists of a push or a pull, or as scientists call them: a force.
Almost there!
Have a great week!
