Third grade families,
I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend and spent it relaxing with family and friends. As we wrap up these final two weeks together, please keep a look out for our school calendar to get all the insight on upcoming end of school year events!
Important Dates:
- Thursday, May 30this the last day of PE
- Friday, May 31stis a half day
ALL school library books are due this Thursday. We will not go to the library to check new books out, as Mrs. Salomon is beginning inventory on all our SHS books.
NO homework for the rest of the school year!
Sneak Peek to our Academic Week:
Math: We continue to work with fractions as practice with equivalent fractions and comparing fractions!
Reading: On we continue with character studies, working to find the similarities and differences between the characters in Dynamode Daniel and Because of Winn Dixie
Writing: this week we begin publishing our speeches/opinion final writing pieces of the year!
Religion: We continue to learn and reflect on our Mother Mary
Spelling: We have the same spelling words as last week. We will continue to work with them and study them this week. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
Science: We will study the phases of the moon!
