Sneak Peek to our Academic Week
math: This week we will continue reviewing Unit 5. Then, we will take our math test this Wednesday.
reading: As we continue on with our character study unit, we will begin making predictions based off the of the theories we formed about our characters. By paying close attention to how character’s talk and act in our books, we can make solid predictions on what we think may happen next!
writing: In our opinion unit this week, we will continue to revise our drafts, looking closely at ways that we can make our speeches extremely powerful by evoking emotion. Then, we will publish our first speeches before beginning a second one!
word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner and on Kids A-Z. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.
religion: This week we focus on The Stations of the Cross!
social studies: All about The Chumash!
