Sneak Peek of our Academic Week

math: This week we continue on with our geometry Unit 6! We will explore quadrangles/quadrilaterals, polygons and angles. We will learn how to draw angles too!

reading: We continue on with our Character Study Unit and book clubs! This week we will focus on the climax/turning points in our stories. After the climax, many things and ideas change for our characters. In our book clubs, we will work on identifying those climax’ as well as determine why that part is so important.

writing: We continue working on our second opinion writing piece, practicing being the captains of our own writing and writing with much more independence.

word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner and on Kids A-Z. There will be no spelling test this week. We will keep the same words for next week, too.

religion: This week we will read through Chapter 22-God Blesses Contrite Hearts, discussing forgiveness. This week we will also begin attending weekly masses on Wednesdays!

Have a wonderful week!
