Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are continuing Unit 6 this week. We will learn what how to measure angles with full and half circle protractors.
ELA:
-Reading: Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! Again, I remind all to turn in our RRJs on our due date this week. All RRJs are due by 3pm. We continue to work from our second reading unit – nonfiction.
-Writing: We are still working from our second unit in writing – Personal and Persuasive Essays. We are already making our switch from personal essays to persuasive ones!
-Spelling: We will have spelling this week! Please see your student’s daily planner for their words!
Social Studies:We are continuing to work on our mission projects this week. Please make sure your student has all they need to build in class!
Science:We will be taking a break from Science for a bit as we focus on our missions.
Religion:We are working on the Virtus lessons from our LA Archdiocese this week. Lent begins on Wednesday with Ash Wednesday!
Homework:
Tuesday: IXL Math Skill Y.5 – RRJ
Wednesday: RRJ – Study for Spelling test – Finish Social Studies Mission Art
Thursday: IXL Math Skill Y.6 – Study for Religion Quiz – Read
Friday: Read and Prepare for next week’s RRJ
Upcoming Events:
We will have an assembly via Zoom this week at 1:45pm.
Next week will be my last one before maternity leave.
