Our onlineweek in 4thgrade…
Again, I ask that you remind your student not to go ahead with either classwork or homework. This is my goal for the week and we may or may not get to all of these lessons/activities.
Math: We are wrapping up unit 8. We will be spending our time in review for the week as we prepare for our test on Thursday
All Week Classwork:Practice multiplication flash cards and work on SMJ pages completed in class time.
ELA:
-Writing: We are going to spend some time looking at informative writing!
-Reading: Please see Edmodo.com for our Reading Response Journal this week.
-Spelling: We will be working on Words Their Way this week.
All Week Classwork: Read selected pages from your historical fiction book! Remember to study your spelling words – test will be on Thursday. Also remember 3 SpellingCity activities are to be done by Thursday.
Social Studies:We will be working on our second lesson from Chapter 6.
Friday Classwork:Open book quiz on Edmodo
Science: We will be working on an activity book about Earthquakes this week.
Tuesday Classwork:Finish activity book pages left incomplete from class time.
Religion:We are working Ventures magazine in the beginning of the week and then we will switch to our books on Wednesday!
Homework
Monday: IXL Math Skill BB.13– RRJ
Tuesday: IXL Math Skill BB.14 – RRJ
Wednesday: IXL Math Skill BB.15 – RRJ
Thursday: RRJ due by 4pm
