Our week in 4thgrade…
Math: We are working on Unit 1: Naming and Constructing Geometric Figures. This week we are working on parallelograms, polygons and constructing circles. We hope to take our first unit test next week.
ELA:
-Writing: We are working on our realistic fiction writing this week. We are gathering ideas and hope to start looking at characters soon!
-Reading: Our Reading Response Journals are due! If you have any questions please contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!
-WTW: We are beginning Words Their Way (Spelling). Please see your students Daily Planner for their words. We take our tests on Thursdays.
Social Studies:We are working on our third lesson: California’s Human Geography
Science:We will continue working on ecosystems. This week we will be showcasing our knowledge of ecosystems through a “hands on” project!
Religion:We are in our fourth chapter of our religion books: God Offers Us Eternal Life. Be sure to check out our Worship Wednesday post!
