Here’s our week in 4th grade…
Math: We are continuing with Unit 6. We will begin looking at angles and using protractors!
ELA:
-Writing: We are continuing our writing. We are moving into our persuasive essays, thinking about how we can convince someone to agree with us.
-Reading: We are working on our nonfiction unit. We will present what we have learned so far in our research teams. Please help by encouraging nonfiction books at home! We are in our last week of writing 7 sentences in cursive for our second trimester RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week. This week is a fiction response. Please encourage your student to follow the guide we worked on in class.
-Spelling: Please see your student’s daily planner for their new spelling words.
Social Studies: We are in the final week of working on our missions! We cannot wait to show them to you at the Showcase and Sweets on the 18th!
Science: We are beginning our 4th chapter in our science books.
Religion: This week we will work on Chapter 21 from our religion books. Please encourage your child to bring home their book to reread the chapter before our quiz at the end of the week.
