Here’s our week in 4th grade…
Math: We are working on Unit 7 and continuing work with fractions!
ELA:
-Writing: We are working on our informational books.
-Reading: We are continuing to study Westward Expansion. We are in our 3rd and final trimester which means we are writing 10 sentences in cursive for our RRJ. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week. This week is a nonfiction response. Please encourage your student to follow the guide we worked on in class.
-Spelling: Please see your student’s daily planner for their new spelling words.
Social Studies: We are continuing with our chapter on the Gold Rush and Statehood.
Science: We are beginning our next chapter in science.
Religion: This week we will be continuing work on Chapter 23 and our Beatitude Booklet.
Homework:
Monday: Math Worksheet – RRJ (nonfiction response this week)
Tuesday: IXL Skill W.5 – RRJ
Wednesday: IXL Skill P.5 – RRJ
Thursday: Math Worksheet – Study for Spelling Test – Study for Religion Test
