Happy Halloween week to all!

This week in grade four:

Math:  I will give the chapter three test on Tuesday.

Science:  We continue with the topic of food chains and food webs.

Social Studies:  The Valley and Desert American Indians will be studied.

Reading:  This week we continue our exploration of hurricanes.  Students are currently writing a short essay on hurricanes using the information gathered from our readings, discussions, internet resources, and current events (Hurricane Sandy.)

Religion:  The first Commandment will be discussed.  Students will respond to the question, “What does it mean to have false gods?”

Our first field trip will be Tuesday, November 13th.  We will leave by bus to the Olivas Adobe at 9am, returning about 12:45pm.  A permission slip and information will be sent home on Tuesday.  Please return by November 7th.
