Our Week:

  • We’ve had a number of friends out last week, so we’ll be catching up and moving onto newer concepts!
    • Math: Decimals! How are they used in real life? How can we compare them?
    • Reading: We’re diving into our Nonfiction unit and learning how to tackle the hard parts (fact overload and misleading headings)!
    • Writing: Still working towards publishing our realistic fiction pieces… 🙂
    • Religion: We are learning what worship is and how we can participate in different forms of it!
    • Social Studies: We’ll study more about the CA Natives’ culture and environment.
    • Science: As we continue learning about the formation of rocks, we ask the question: Can a mountain last forever? This week, we will have another fun lab that involves something sweet!

Let’s have a great week!

Ms. Schmaeling
