Dear Kindergarten Families,

I hope all families had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving together with family and friends. December is here we can help with….Teddy Bear Day and Donut Sales ($1.00) all supporting the Adopt-a-Family mission.

Our Christian Faith and Practice helps us to learn how God sent Jesus to teach us how to live and love others. Learning academically, all our lessons tie together with a focus on preparing our self for when Jesus comes again and our hearts as gifts of love we share with others.

ELA – review of letter and initial sound of /v/; preview letter /c/; blending and segmenting CVC words; finding action words; comprehension cause and effect; reading strategy to predict/infer; sentence structure and sight word work.

EM — number sense with numerals, dominoes, and objects; number formation worksheets and games to reinforce counting.

Science — a unit on the five senses and our health booklets.

Social studies –Bible stories – people who lived during the time of Jesus.

This Friday is a full day of school –
