Friday night’s Mass, Presentation of Diplomas, and Reception in Biedermann Hall completed the three days of graduation activities for The Class of 2011. Many family members and friends watched the graduates process one at a time into Sacred Heart Church. Graduates welcomed the guests, read, dressed the altar, brought the gifts to the altar, and delivered flowers and letters to their families & friends as The Children’s Choir led the singing throughout. Diplomas were given to each graduate by members of the Sacred Heart School teaching staff as applause greeted each name. The graduates announced which high school they will attend: St. Bonaventure, Foothill Technology, Buena, Ventura, Carpinteria, and Santa Paula High Schools. On Thursday The Class of 2011 spent the day at Magic Mountain and Wednesday’s activities included a School Mass and Awards Ceremony, photos, yearbook signing, and a graduates’ luncheon. Everyone at Sacred Heart School is proud of The Class of 2011! Good luck in high school!

Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
