Sneak Peek to our Academic Week

math: This week we continue on with unit 5, working with very large numbers. We continue work to work on developing a sense of larger place value.

reading: This week in our mystery unit we will work through finding red herrings and hidden clues in our mysteries. This allows us to practice our inferential thinking in full force!

writing: We continue on with our opinion writing, working to develop big and bold opinions in order to convince our readers.

word work: Spelling words can be found in your child’s planner and on spelling city.com. Spelling tests are scheduled for this Friday.

religion: As we continue on our Lenten journey, we will discuss the different ways we can prepare our hearts during this time.

science: This week is all about trait variation and natural selection. We will learn how nature can slowly change the appearance of an animal using the process of selection.
