Hello-

It was so AWESOME to see all of you on campus on Friday!!!! A reminder that Progress Reports go home today. Please check your child’s homework folder for the envelope. I would like the signed envelope returned by Friday. Don’t forget to keep their progress report.

We have a special book character day on March 30th! Your child may dress as their favorite BOOK character! Please have your child bring the book on the 30th. If you need any help coming up with a character, please feel free to reach out to me.

Fluency: Fluency  

Reading Challenge: March Challenge (Read 20 min. a day). Please use the planner or email to communicate any reading success at home. Kids love to hear you share positive success’ at home with me.

Sneak Peek to our Academic Week 

Word Work: Please review spelling patterns during the week.  

Reading: It’s all about building our reading stamina.  We are working on fluency. We will be working on vowel pairs (ee, ea, ou, etc.). Keep reading daily at home.

Writing/Grammar:  We continue working on adding adjectives to our sentences. Thank you to all who added adjectives to the students’ artwork on Friday.  

We are working on checking a few things in our sentences such as capital letter, spaces between words, and punctuation marks at the end. 

Math:  We will begin our new unit.  Our focus this week is place value and greater than, less than, or equal to… We will learn how to make the signs as well.

Religion: Hope you all chose a day without technology. We will be attending stations of the cross every Wednesday at 2:15.
