A peek at the week:

Letter/sounds /l/ and /r/ these sounds are considered ‘liquids’, print practice for these letters.
Reading non-fiction booklets about spiders and owls – using position words and pairs nicely with science. A lab on pumpkins on Tuesday afternoon.
Math finds us counting and writing numbers, introducing the ten frame, using the ten frame for number combinations to ten and less than ten. We will continue with plane shapes and geometric blocks.
HOMEWORK
- IXL MATH

Read nightly and do IXL skills above.
This week work on your child’s Saints name and something they are known for before Sainthood.
No book response this week, instead this week we will do “Building Our Classroom Community Cube” coming home on Tuesday afternoon. Have your child do the writing on flat cubes in the ways they show honesty, caring, good citizenship, respect and responsibility. Simply a word, short phrase or small picture. Then build the cube and return to school next Tuesday, November 1.
Blessings,
Mrs. Brown
