Dear Kindergarten Families,
I am hearing a lot of fun the Everyday Math home connection. Lots of counting and calendar work. Continue using this booklet as it is a great resource for your child. Check off as you complete chapters.
As always read each night and record on reading log. All reading is important, I recommend picture and word books. Wordless books promote rich language use and are illustrated beautifully.
Sight words are coming home today. We will test sight words weekly, please return the words in envelope on Wednesday or Thursday. If your child knows all the words in 3 seconds or less, a new level will go home with homework.
This week have your child read/color/illustrate the “All About Me” booklet. Return (Thursday) or earlier so we may share in class.
