Dear Families,

This is our first full week of school. Students are doing a wonderful job with establishing our routines in 5th grade. I look forward to meeting everyone on Wednesday at 6:30 for Back-to-School night. Students begin P.E. this Thursday. Please have your child wear their P.E. uniform to school. Below is an overview of our week.

Religion: Our focus this week is on the Liturgical year and the different seasons.

Math: We are reviewing rectangular arrays and use of multiplication model numbers.

Writers Workshop: This week we are generating ideas for our Narrative writing unit.

Readers Workshop: Our focus this week is on setting goals for themselves as readers and create action plan.
