It was so great to meet everyone at Back to School night.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at fifthgrade@sacredheartschoolventura.org.  We are getting into the routines and expectations of 5th grade.  This Friday is a noon dismissal.  On Sunday we will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Sacred Heart Church.  There is no school on Monday

Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  Our IXL sections this week are A.1 Place Value and A.6 Rounding.  We are focusing on rectangular arrays and factors.

Vocabulary: Unit 1.  We will be learning about multiple meaning words and similes.

Grammar: Lesson 49, Titles.

Science:  We will continue with the study of cells.

Social Studies:  This Thursday we will have a small quiz on 5 states. We have been practicing in class.

Religion:  Our focus this week is the Four Marks of the Church.
