The books arrive on Tuesday and will be set up in the library for the opening day, Thursday, January 26. All classes will have time on Thursday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons, and Friday morning to visit the book fair. Family members will be notified of when the classes are attending and are welcome to come if there is time and/or interest. If the scheduled class visit time does not work, students can be signed out of class from the office to attend the book fair with family members during the afternoon on Thursday, Monday, and Tuesday, and Friday morning.

Each time students go to the book fair, they will complete a list of books they hope to purchase. Of course, students who do not see anything they would like to buy will not bring a list home. Those who see something of interest, will take the list home for permission and payment. Of course, family members can elect a portion of the list or decline all books on the list. The returned forms and payments will get the students “book bucks” that can be used in the library the next scheduled time in the library to get their books.

A fundraiser for Sacred Heart School, this is the first time in a long time that we have had a book fair on campus. With the books marked at retail pricing with most ending in $.99, all books will be sold at the rounded up pricing. A book marked at $13.99 will sell for $14. We selected a Ventura County company to work with and we are hopeful that there are books of interest for all students, staff, and families of SHS.
