This is the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Gospel for Sunday is from Luke and focuses on how we have to follow Jesus and carry our crosses. Our discussion focused on the duties they have at their age and how they can meet their obligations in school and home. The 8th grade class completed graphic organizers listing their crosses, and the requirements they need to successfully carry the cross. The class then reflected on how to help others carry their crosses.
