Celebrate Constitution Day

6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade By September 17, 2013 No Comments

Today on September 17, 1787 the Founding Fathers signed our United States Constitution. This is the 226th anniversary of the signing. The Founding Fathers spent over 3 months discussing, arguing, and designing the government we have that guarantees the many freedoms we enjoy today! The middle school celebrated with different activities during history classes today.

Wonders of the World

6th Grade, 7th Grade By June 19, 2013 No Comments

The 6th and 7th grade classes spent the last 3 days researching and building many amazing structures that have been built from 400 B.C.E. to 1800 C.E. Some of the buildings recreated were the Colosseum, Taj Mahal, ancient castles, and many others. The projects were very creative and the presentations interesting.
