The 8th grade class leads the school community each week in an Advent prayer service. They read prayers, Bible readings and the Gospel. We also have our students lead us in singing beautiful hymns like O Come, O Come, Emmanuel. The candles are lit for all to see and reflect on the coming of Jesus.

In fifth grade we are discussing how our guardian angel is a friend we do not see but feel their presence. Students gave examples of how their guardian angels helped them.
This past Sunday the gospel from Luke featured the disciples asking Jesus to” increase our faith”. Jesus responded by telling them what they could accomplish with faith the size of a mustard seed. The class created posters with positive messages about growing our faith each day.
