The 6th grade is studying Ancient China so the class organized a Chinese New Year party to celebrate. This is the Year of the Snake and the class enjoyed many treats. They had special cakes with flavors such as green tea, taro, and strawberry. One student brought in delicious fried rice. Then we all tried many different types of dried fruit. Other students shared fun symbols such as a dragon costume and China doll. Now we will continue examining the ancient dynasties lasting contributions to China history.
