The 7th grade class has spent the last couple of weeks creating their own civilizations. Based on the 4Worlds social studies model each student creates their own civilization with a government, economy, social structure, and culture. We are now sharing our projects and each civilization is very unique and interesting. Today a student brought in exotic fruits that grow on the island civilization that she created. We all tried dragon fruit, papaya, persimmon, and several others.
