Dear Families,
I hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving holiday. This is a full week of school for our students. This Friday is a full day of school. Tuesday is Teddy Bear Day please have your child bring a new teddy bear to donate to Adopt-A-Family. Doughnut sales start this week. Below is an overview of our week.
Math: We will be exploring the properties of polygons. We will also find the angle measurement sums for polygons. Our unit 3 test will be next Tuesday December 9th. IXL sections this week are D.4 and E.2.
Science: We will learn how communities get fresh water from both underground and surface sources.
Vocabulary: Unit 5
Grammar: Our focus this week will be past tense verbs and future tense verbs.
Social Studies: We will study how English colonists at Jamestown and Plymouth cooperated with one another.
Religion: Chapter 10, We Receive Holy Communion.
