Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the three day weekend.  This Wednesday is Free Dress for a $1.00 donation.  This Friday is a full day of school.  Below please find an overview of our week.

Math:  We will be comparing fractions from Least to greatest.  We will also compare fractions to teh benchmarks 0, 1/2, and 1.  Since it is a four day week students are only required to do two Acc math assignments for the week.  This week the IXl.com section is L2, Equivalent Fractions.

Religion:  This week our class will be completing the Virtus lessons.  The first lesson is  Internet Safety and the second lesson is Creating and Following Family Rules.

Vocabulary:  Unit 8.

Grammar:  Unit 3.  Our focus this week is on irregular verbs, contractions with Not, and often misused verbs.

Science:  Chapter 10.  Our focus is on the three states of matter and how the states are determined by the motion of particles.

Social Studies:  Chapter 6.  We will be drawing conclusions about the advantages and disadvantages of plantation life.

ELA:  We will be finishing our essays on Unit 3, Clues to a Culture.
