In August, it was announced that The Archdiocese of Los Angeles requires that all who volunteer at schools and parishes when in contact with young people must complete a three-hour Virtus class, Protecting God’s Children.

The last Virtus classes available at Sacred Heart Parish and School for 2018 will be offered on Saturday, November 3, Tuesday, November 13, and Friday, November 16.  Forms to complete to be included in the November 3 class are available in the school office, and the forms for the November 13 and 16 classes will be in the November Family Letter.

PLEASE:  These are the last classes offered in 2018 and the necessity to have Virtus training to volunteer at school events will begin in January.

If you have not completed a class, and these dates do not work for you, other parishes offer the class as well.  Contact principal@sacredheartschoolventura.org if you need assistance with scheduling at another location.

More Virtus classes will be offered on our campus at the start of the new year.
