This Thursday, the 23 Sunday in ordinary time Gospel was read by the 8th grade students. This reading was difficult to understand because it discusses the procedures for dealing with someone who has wronged you in some way. We mentioned valid ways to talk with a friend and the importance of not gossiping about the situation. They tied in their experience of needing or granting forgiveness. We also reviewed the Catholic virtues of faith, hope, love, temperance, fortitude, justice, and prudence. Each student chose one virtue they would like to work on over the next several weeks.
