Happy Catholic Schools Week to all!

This is always an exciting week for students and staff.  Tuesday is staff appreciation day so we are treated to a special lunch!  Wednesday our students are appreciated with free dress, hamburgers and treats for lunch, and no homework!  Thursday we will give special gifts and cards to our clergy and parish staff.  We finish the week with fun Friday games provided by eighth grade.

With the exception of the Friday spelling test, there are no tests planned for the week.  Students will continue to write their book reports.  A science lab visit for hands on circuit making is planned for Tuesday.  We continue to discuss events leading to statehood for California.  More measurement for math, including the building of “gallon bot.”  I will also add some multiplication and division review so skills stay fresh.
