Our onlineweek in 4thgrade…
Again, I ask that you remind your student not to go ahead with either classwork or homework. This is my goal for the week and we may or may not get to all of these lessons/activities.
Math: We are beginning unit 9. We will be spending our time learning about percents, fractions, and decimals.
All Week Classwork:SMJ pages completed in class time.
ELA:
-Writing: We are going to spend some time looking at informative writing!
-Reading: Please see Edmodo.com for our Reading Response Journal this week. Remember to turn it in on your due date.
-Spelling: We will be working on Words Their Way this week.
All Week Classwork: Begin your Pop-up Book Report – 3 Spelling City assignments due by Thursday at 1:30pm – Spelling City test on Thursday
Social Studies:We will be continue learning about the Great Depression as we work on an activity this week.
Science: We will be working on an activity book about Volcanoes this week and will be working on our lesson 2 in our science books.
Tuesday Classwork:Finish activity book pages left incomplete from class time.
Religion:We are working wrapping up our chapter 24 from last week! Our test will be on Tuesday found on Edmodo.
Homework
Monday: IXL Math Skill R.1 (fifth grade skill)– RRJ
Tuesday: IXL Math Skill R.2 (fifth grade skill) – RRJ
Wednesday: SMJ p. 253 (Photo to be uploaded on Edmodo) – RRJ
Thursday: IXL Math Skill R.4 (fourth grade skill) – RRJ due by 4pm
