I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and a restful week off.  My husband and I relaxed in our Idaho getaway for a week and then traveled to Vancouver, B.C to attend the “other” royal wedding!  Our nephew married a beautiful Canadian woman in a very special ceremony.

I know it is hard to believe, but we have only about 6 weeks left of our school year.  During those 6 weeks we need to cover 2 chapters of social studies, 2 chapters of math, 5 spelling units, 2 science chapters, 1 English chapter, and 1 novel.  Our focus for religion will be the precepts of the church and the sacraments. Piece of cake!

Today and tomorrow we are reviewing decimals and will have the math test on Wednesday. The test on pronouns is scheduled for Thursday. Please assist your child in memorizing a few important facts about his or her wax museum person.  Also, each student will be dressing in the style of that person’s era.  Props would also be great.  This big event will be held in the hall on the evening of June 2nd.

As always, I appreciate your support.

Blessings,

Mrs. Sharon Redmond
