Dear Fourth Grade Families,

My last week in 4th grade before maternity leave, has arrived. Thank you to all who reached out to me to meet and to offer your well wishes for the arrival of our little one. We will be sharing our good news all in good time!

Here is our exciting week in 4thgrade…

Math: We are wrapping up Unit 3! This week we will focus on open number stories and take our unit test!

ELA:

-Writing: We are taking this week to write some Halloween stories.

-Reading: Remember to keep up with our Reading Response Journals! If you have any questions please contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!

-Vocabulary: We are taking a break from Vocabulary this week.

-Spelling: We are working from Unit 11. Again, we have 25 words written in our daily planners but we will only be tested on 20. We will be taking our test later this week. Remember that these words are also available on SpellingCity.com

Social Studies:We are taking this week to review before we start a new chapter on Monday!

Science:We will be taking our test this week!

Religion:We continue our ninth chapter in our religion books: We Honor Mary. Remember to check our website on Wednesday afternoons for “Worship Wednesday” to see a bit of what we are doing in our classroom!

Monday: Math Worksheet – Reading Response Journals

Tuesday: Math Worksheet – Reading Response Journals

Wednesday: Reading Response Journals

Thursday: Study for Spelling Test

 

School Notices:

-Wednesday is library day!

-Wednesday is Halloween Free “Free” Dress Day! No Costumes Please
