Dear Fourth Grade Families,

It is so nice to be back in the classroom with your children! This week in fourth grade we are going to take it a bit slow as I transition back into teacher mode. đź™‚

Our week in 4thgrade…

Math: We are spending our math time this week reviewing all that we have learned in math! 

ELA:

-Reading: We are refreshing our memories with our Reading Response Journal directions! We will be doing a practice response later in the week. If you have any questions please contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes!

-Vocabulary: We are on our second week of Unit 9. Remember that these words are available on SpellingCity.com for practice. We will be taking our test on Thursday of this week.

-Spelling: There are no new spelling words.

Social Studies:We are beginning our third chapter in our books. In addition, we are beginning our mission project!

Science:We will begin our next chapter in science. We will be learning about Rocks and Minerals.

Religion:We will take this week to reflect on some bible verses about opening our hearts to good. Remember to check our website on Wednesday afternoons for “Worship Wednesday” to see a bit of what we are doing in our classroom!

School Notices: 

-Parents Day is Friday! Please join us in the church for mass followed by a classroom visit. We will be working on a piece of our mission project with you!

– Friday is a noon dismissal and the beginning of our Catholic Schools Week!

-Sunday is Open House from 12-2pm. If you know any prospective families please encourage them to stop by our classroom.
