Dear Fourth Grade Families,

Here’s our week in 4thgrade…

Math: We are working hard on division and multiplication with remainders as well as introducing full-circle protractors. These are hard lessons for us so please be patient as we attempt our homework!

ELA:

-Reading: We are continuing our Reading Responses. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes! In class we are working on researching a topic – Our missions!

-Vocabulary: We are on our second week of Unit 10. Remember that these words are available on SpellingCity.com for practice. We will be taking our test on Friday of this week.

-Spelling: Spelling Words are in Unit 22.

Social Studies:We are continuing our third chapter in our books. In addition, we are beginning the construction of our mission project this week!

Science:We started our next chapter in science: Rocks and Minerals. We are discussing properties this week.

Religion:We are working from Chapter 17, which teaches us to respect others and the gifts God has given us. Remember to check our website on Wednesday afternoons for “Worship Wednesday” to see a bit of what we are doing in our classroom!
