Our week in 4thgrade…

Math: We are wrapping up Unit 2! This week we look at our second method of subtracting multi-digits and reviewing the content we have learned so far. We will take our test on Thursday.

ELA:

-Writing: We are continuing with our writing. We are rereading our stories to see if we are including the setting in our many scenes.

-Reading: We are continuing with our reading lessons. Remember to keep up with our Reading Response Journals! If you have any questions please contact me. Remember nightly homework is to read 20-30 minutes but our RRJ is 1 time a week!

-Spelling: Remember to look in your students Daily Planner for their spelling words.

Social Studies:We are starting a big project that allows us to dive a bit deeper into our second chapter. We plan to work on this California Native American Tribe project all week! Students might be asking to bring in some cardboard as we begin our construction. If possible, please help your student gather some to bring in for their group.

Science:We will continue on with our second chapter on Thursday. We will look at how organisms compete with one another.

Religion:This week we continue to look at our Ten Commandments and work on our project as we learn these laws.
