This Sunday is the 26th Sunday in Ordinary Time. The Gospel readings continue from Matthew and this week focuses on obeying God’s will. The class discussed how hard it is to obey their parents, teachers, and coaches everyday. We realized that it is very hard for all of us to obey rules and listen to our parents and teachers and follow God’s rules. However, the class showed a great willingness to improve upon this and listen to parents and teachers without arguing. The best comment from the conversation was “it takes less time to just listen to our parents or teachers and get the chore or work done, otherwise we waste time”. Each student reflected on one area of improvement to help listen better.
