We all enjoyed sporting our Halloween tattoos on Friday! After we returned from Mass, the eighth grade students organized in Multi-Purpose #1 and applied tattoos to the hands and arms of students in kindergarten through seventh grade. Each student could have one or two tattoos applied and several students purchased more tattoos to enjoy at home. With each tattoo purchased for $1 each, Sacred Heart School students were able to raise almost $300 to add to the amount we will give to Monsignor Terry Fleming for The Archdiocese of Los Angeles Adopt-a-Family Program. Monsignor Terry will come to Sacred Heart School on Tuesday, December 6 to tell our students about the Adopt-a-Family Program and to collect our donation of teddy bears and money collected during this first trimester.
Mrs. Benner
Education at Sacred Heart School is centered in Christ and is concerned with the development of the whole child. We are committed to helping students grow in trust and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as well as to helping them grow in the spirit of prayer, service and leadership in the Christian community. Sacred Heart School cooperates with and assists the parents or legal guardians, who are the primary educators of their children. Along with teaching Catholic dogma, doctrine, and morals, Sacred Heart School maintains a strong, innovative curriculum. It is our goal to promote a school atmosphere that is enlivened by Gospel values, intellectual proficiency, and self-esteem.
