In Christmastime past, a concern was drought. Would we find an answer? As we celebrate Christmas 2021, storms work their way through California bringing much desired rain and snow to our state. A good sign.

Christmas 2021 continues the pandemic questions of 2020 with that same need for answers. We were able to return to campus in February, remain there through June and into August through December. A good sign.

And as the angels rejoice over the stable where The Baby Jesus began His earthly life, and The Magi look to The Star to find their way to celebrate That Baby, we look with hope and resilience to 2022 for enduring answers.

For 2022, we pray for collegiality, determination, and open-mindedness. And we watch for the good sign.
