Dear Kindergarten Families,
Our Everyday Math finds us recognizing, reviewing, and counting coins this week. Please use the worksheet “Coin Detective” to find coins and identify at home. Start a coin jar or piggy bank and continue counting -knowing coin value is difficult, it takes practice!
Please note the Reading Logs are coming back in Red Folders to compete by Nov. 1 for a Pizza Certificate. As a reminder, requirement is to read 5 books or 100 minutes each week. A new Book-It reading log for November is linked below. Requirements are increased read 100 minutes per week, as this is for a whole month.
Work on sight words as you read – and use booklet. Do sight word identification coloring worksheet.
