Dear Kindergarten families,
Reading is the most important habit! Find a nice cozy spot to spend time reading each night. Your child’s library book is in their homework folder. We visit the library Thursday and books are due back at school by Wednesday next week. List books you read together on the reading log.
This week we have had fun learning basic probability skills and using the related vocabulary – certain, impossible, possible, likely and unlikely. Your child will bring home 3 colored sticks to test outcome possibilities of same and different. Use tally marks to show outcome Stick Pick-Up Game. Your child knows how to do this! If needed, help with straight neat tally marks for easy counting. Count by fives adding any ones on each section.
All papers are in the red homework folder. Please do a bit of ixl practice and return both papers next Thursday, December 6.
