Fast approaching is January 23rd , the 100th day of school !

In your child’s red homework folder is a bag to put 100 items. Please bag in groups of 5, 10, 20, or 25 to equal 100, then staple or tape bag closed. Bring in Tuesday or Wednesday next week for our 100 day celebration. Guessing and counting what is in their bags will be our math fun!

As always continue your nightly reading habit. Use your child’s library book or a favorite book and do the “Story Notes” to retell favorite parts of the story. We will share in class next week.

We will take a break from ixl this week, instead work on 100 day project and the Animal Comparison document due next week. A couple of sites your children enjoy: Gonoodle and Storyline online for movement and listening to stories.

Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is on Monday – enjoy another 3 day weekend! Blessings ~ Mrs. Brown
