Dear Kindergarten families,

Find that special time to read with your child. Notice two forms in the homework folder for responding to one of your child’s book selections. Choose one for that favorite book. We have been checking out non-fiction as well as fiction stories so use the appropriate form. Your child may use both forms – only one is required.

Spelling City is a site we will begin to use. Your child’s login information and password is labeled inside of their red homework folder. Same as codes as IXL to make it easy to remember. click on SpellingCity.com  
select ‘student’ then login with your child’s information. Let’s get familiar with this site. Start on list 1 – continue if mastering lists. -more lists will be open when mastery occurs. Lots of games to help learn to spell words on our lists. Regular spelling tests will begin in February.

IXL subtraction practice L.3 subtract numbers up to 10 for a review work on K. 3 subtract numbers up to 5

Challenge with J. 7 write addition sentences and L. 6 write subtraction sentences – if applicable.
