Dear Kindergarten Families,
The School Fair is coming soon. Using the World Book Web for research will continue for homework this week. This week comparing two animals is our focus. Forms to compare mammals to another animal are linked below. Your child has the choice of comparing a mammal to an amphibian, bird, fish, insect or a reptile. Please do not use prehistoric animals – there is not much to compare!
Research paper, Reading log, Everyday Math and ixl math are required. I had time to help 1/2 the class find the animals for comparison. Their papers were printed in the lab and in the red homework folder. The rest of the class will print their choices on Tuesday. I encourage parents to work with their child and find more comparisons, although only one paper is required. When in World Book, you child may want to explore the games and puzzles-this is an option-they may enjoy if time allows.
