Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Another great week of book reports! Continue to read and list books on reading log. I have had a few questions about the ‘shamrock’ print out. We display this shamrock in class it is for reading a book or two in addition to the daily 20 minutes of reading. Your child will receive a ticket to put in “The Read Across America” drawing at the end of March.
Everyday Math questions: I encourage parents to click on the section and activity we are working on for the vocabulary we use in class. This week the tab for section 5 activity 14, “The Attribute Spinner Game” is one of the learning activities used during our centers. A good way to follow along is to check the “Home Connections” and the “Games and Practice”. All games reinforce math skills- your child can work on any of the games.
*All ixl math games are excellent for enhancing math skills and important to practice each week.
Required homework:
Read with or to your child each night for 20 and list books or chapters on reading log. Do worksheet and word search. Return next week on Thursday. *Spend time each week on math websites – log into EM and IXL with login / password I provided.
