Dear Kindergarten families,
This week you will find a couple of papers in your child’s red homework folder. One is to practice printing their name and the other to practice number formation. Print name on all lines and numbers 3 times. Remember all letters and numbers start at the top (headline or mid-line) not the bottom (baseline).
Notice if your child has the habit of printing from the bottom line. This is a hard habit to break! Please work on this if needed–letters I often see started at the bottom are Oo’s or zero’s. All papers need to be returned next Thursday along with reading log and the Dr. Seuss “Green Eggs and Ham” paper (Try -it).
