Kindergarten Families,

Your children have been telling me they like using the computer for homework! A good thing to hear and the written work is impressive as well. The book reports are illustrated nicely, easy to see they understand the basic components of the book.

This week have your child read a story online by going to Starfall.com There are several short stories at the appropriate level found in the orange section “Learn to Read”. Your child may want to check out the next section “It’s Fun To Read”.  If your child reads one or more of these stories, add to the weekly reading minutes and the reading log.

Another great place to find stories to read online is We Give Books from  the Pearson Foundation, a digital library.  Sign up (it’s free) and every book you read online, the Pearson Foundation will give a book to a child who needs one.  Choose a campaign to support. Any book you read through their digital library is free any time and every time.
