Dear Kindergarten Families,

We had a busy week!

Olivia celebrated her birthday on Monday. We are all set with whom your child will portray in the Saint’s Parade. Parade is next Friday, November 4 at 8:30. Please come with your camera to see and capture this annual event. If you are struggling with costumes, I may have something to help, please ask.

We are learning letter sounds and sight words for beginning reading skills. Reading for comprehension by looking at details to predict outcome. Math has us looking at odd and even numbers, patterning and counting by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s.  Animals – growth and movement, care/compassion for all living things is our focus in religion, science and social studies.
