Dear Kindergarten Families,

I enjoyed conferencing with all parents last week. Your children have made significance progress since school began. They are hard workers! This trimester is where we work even harder towards meeting our grade level standards.

Tomorrow is a free dress all proceeds will go to support
St. Vicente de Paul – please send in $1.00 or more!

Parent’s Day is January 25! Parents can meet us at Church for 8:30 Mass. Please come and enjoy the fun as we learn together in Kindergarten. This is an important day for your child, please have a family member or special friend come if you cannot be here.
If you have any questions please send me an email.

Language arts continues with our phonics, readers, and writers workshops. Reading using our super power skills – sounding out letters and using snap words. Continue to practice words in homework folder.

Math finds us starting section 5 which will consist of time and order of daily events. Reviewing patterns, attributes of pattern blocks, tally marks and counting by 1s, 5s and 10s.

We begin learning our five senses in science and continue to get ready for the school fair. Please work on animal comparisons using the World Book Web for a resource. Note the paper that came home on Tuesday – complete and return to school next Thursday.

Have a blessed week! ~ Mrs. Brown
