Dear Families,

It was wonderful seeing so many families at Parent Day. This week is Catholic Schools Week. Tuesday is staff appreciation day. Wednesday is student appreciation day and free dress for students. For student appreciation we will not have any homework this week. Mrs. Benner will be providing lunch for all on Wednesday. This Friday is a full day of school. Below please see an overview of our week:

Math: This week we are working with equivalent fractions.

Science: Chapter 5. Water exists in three states, liquid, solid and gas.

Religion: We will focus on explaining the purpose of the different prayers.

Social Studies: This week we will be focusing on our School Fair report.

Vocabulary: Unit 8

Grammar: We will use and understand interjections and use commas to set off interruptions.

Writers Workshop: This week we continue to work on our informative writing piece.
